I just need a website. Can you help without doing a full rebrand?
It depends on what you’re bringing to the table. If you have a strategically developed brand identity (strong visual system, clear positioning, defined voice, logo suite, etc) then yes, we can absolutely build on that foundation. But if your brand isn’t in that place yet, we’re going to be honest with you: a well-designed website sitting on a weak brand is a expensive problem to solve twice. In that case, we’ll recommend starting with a brand identity package before we touch the site.
What if I already have a logo I made myself, can we work with that?
We’ll have a candid conversation about it. Some brands have a solid mark that just needs a proper system built around it, and we can work with that. But if what you have isn’t scalable, strategically grounded, or a full identity with color and typography systems, we’re going to flag it. A high-end website deserves a brand that can hold its own alongside it. We’d rather tell you that upfront than deliver a site that undersells what you’re actually offering. What platform will you build my website on?
We match the platform to where you are as a business. Early-stage startups who need a clean, professional presence without the overhead typically start on Squarespace. It’s fast to launch and easy to manage. Most of our sites are built on WordPress using Elementor, which gives us far more design flexibility and scales well as your business grows. For e-commerce, we build on Shopify. And for brands that need a fully custom, headless CMS build, we work with a trusted development partner.
When does Squarespace stop being the right fit?
Squarespace is a genuinely good solution for brands that are just getting started. It’s clean, reliable, and low-maintenance; but it also has a ceiling. Once you need more advanced SEO control, complex integrations, custom functionality, a growing content library, or a shopping experience with real depth, Squarespace can start to work against you. At that point we’d steer you toward WordPress or Shopify depending on your needs. If you’re already past the startup stage, we’ll likely recommend starting there.
Do you build e-commerce websites?
Yes! We build on Shopify for e-commerce projects. We handle the design and store setup; if you need deep custom development, we bring in our development partner.
What does a website project with you actually include?
Scope varies by project, but a typical engagement covers sitemap and page structure, UX wireframing, full visual design, platform build, copywriting guidance, stock image sourcing, and basic on-page SEO setup for up to 5 pages. We also provide handoff with training so you can manage the site yourself going forward. For larger projects, we may extend into additional pages, custom integrations, and ongoing support.
Will my website be built for SEO?
Every site we build has solid on-page SEO foundations. This includes proper heading structure, metadata, image optimisation, clean URL architecture, focus keyphrases, and mobile performance. What we don’t offer at this time is ongoing SEO strategy or advanced keyword research and analytics. That’s a discipline in its own right and deserves a specialist.
How long does a website project take?
Most website projects run around 6-10 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the size of the site, platform, and how smoothly content and feedback rounds move. Custom development projects may run longer. The biggest variable in our experience is content: copy and imagery that arrives late is the most common reason timelines slip. We’ll give you a clear content list and timeline at the start of the project so we’re aligned from day one.
Will I be able to update the site myself after launch?
Yes, however fully custom sites may require additional work to build a back-end user interface to manage items such as photos and copy. Every project includes a handoff walkthrough so you know how to update pages, add content, manage products, and handle the basics. If you’d prefer we stay involved for ongoing maintenance or updates, we can discuss a retainer arrangement after launch.
